It is a great time to join Natta as we expand our time-tested delivery approach into new networks. We pride ourselves on high retention of satisfied staff and continually target work in the areas our delivery teams are based to ensure follow-on work from all of our projects. We are now recruiting an experienced Senior Engineer to join our project in Epping.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Oversee dimensional control on site and ensure Natta Building work is carried out to specified technical standards or higher.
- Mentor graduate engineers in all site duties and contribute to their completion of the Natta Approved ICE training scheme.
- Significantly contribute to the effective implementation of the programme, management of staff, health, safety and environmental issues, quality control and assurance framework.
Main Tasks / Responsibilities
- Plan works thoroughly to develop and maintain a safe system of work specific to each working environment.
- Implement the safe system of work at the site level.
- Maintain and develop relationships with clients and the supply chain.
- Plan and sequence site works to achieve or improve on programme requirements.
- Manage resources to achieve our goals while developing individuals and promoting a good atmosphere and high standards of output.
- Interrogate designs to ensure buildability and uncover opportunities for improvements.
- Resourcing works to achieve the programme within budget while assisting Senior Managers with overall resource control.
- Manage quality control systems to ensure high standards of work are achieved first time with minimal defects.
- Provide technical clarity to all team members, both on and off site.
- Ensure the business retains exemplary levels of Health and Safety adherence.

Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a similar discipline.
- Chartered Membership of the ICE.
- SSSTS certification.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years post-Chartership experience.
- Experience in MS Office.
- Knowledge of robotic EDM.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience of groundworks, civil engineering, basements, shell & core for high-end housing.
- Previous work experience in a similar field.
- People-management experience.
- Good working knowledge of laser-guided concrete screed.
