Natta Building Company is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our team in Bicester. This is an excellent opportunity to take a leading role in delivering high-quality civil engineering projects while supporting the development of graduate engineers.
About the Role
As a Senior Engineer, you will oversee dimensional control on site and ensure all works are carried out to the highest technical standards. You will contribute to programme delivery, team leadership, and the effective management of health & safety, quality, and environmental performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement safe systems of work across site operations
- Ensure site activities meet programme requirements and deadlines
- Oversee dimensional control and technical compliance
- Manage and allocate resources efficiently to meet project goals
- Mentor graduate engineers and support their progress through the ICE training scheme
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Review and challenge designs to improve buildability and efficiency
- Maintain high standards of quality control and minimise defects
- Promote and uphold excellent health & safety standards
Requirements
Essential:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Chartered Engineer status with ICE
- Minimum 5 years’ post-chartership experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and robotic EDM
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High attention to detail and strong numerical ability
Desirable:
- Experience in groundworks, civil engineering, basements, and high-end residential projects
- Previous experience in a similar role
- People management experience
- Knowledge of laser-guided concrete screed
- SSSTS qualification
- Full UK driving licence
