Salary: £29,857 to £31,799 gross per annum

Hours: 35 Hours Per Week

Main geographical location of role: Ringwood, Hampshire

Job Description

Consistently rated ’Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, we are a provider of School and College SEND education for children and young people, and we are passionate about helping each member of our vibrant community fulfil their potential. An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Senior IT Technician to join our friendly, busy and developing IT team.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a high standard of first and second‑line on‑site IT support across the organisation
  • Leading on MIS operation, development, and training
  • Supporting a high standard of cyber security as part of our commitment to safeguarding
  • Liaising across the IT team in terms of task allocation and resolution

Qualifications

  • Sector‑ and IT‑qualified, e.g. FE, plus Microsoft/CompTIA Certification
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in PC hardware and software configuration, installation, maintenance and use
  • Confident and competent in MIS and database management
  • Prompt, punctual and friendly, with an openness to learning and new ideas
