Are you an exceptional senior leader with a passion for transforming outcomes for children and young people with severe, complex and moderate learning disabilities and additional needs? Would you like to help shape the future of a unique, values-led organisation where education, residential care and therapeutic support come together to create life-changing opportunities?

We are seeking a dynamic and exceptional Deputy Principal of Integrated Learning to provide strategic leadership across our School, College, Residential and Health & Therapy services. As one of two newly created Deputy Principal roles, working closely with the Principal and Deputy Principal of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our integrated learning offer continues to deliver outstanding outcomes, innovation and quality for the children and young people we support.

You will be an accomplished educational leader with significant experience within specialist SEND provision, bringing expertise in curriculum development, quality improvement, safeguarding, multidisciplinary leadership and regulatory compliance. You will also have the ability to build strong relationships with staff, families, Trustees, commissioners, regulators and external partners, while maintaining a relentless focus on improving outcomes for children and young people.

At the Sheiling Ringwood we provide holistic, innovative and impactful care and education to match the interests, skills and aspirations of our students and meet their individual needs. Our exceptional staff teams play a vital role in ensuring every child and young person experiences a coherent journey across education, residential life and therapeutic support, helping them develop independence, confidence and skills for adulthood.

We have a large, beautiful site with lots of open, green spaces and woodland that provides a peaceful, therapeutic setting and a dynamic teaching environment. Within the 45 acres are classrooms, student residential accommodation (large, spacious houses), a purpose-built therapy building, a multipurpose hall (with a large stage for performances), a gymnasium, a heated indoor swimming pool, a variety of indoor and outdoor workshops and a large kitchen garden which provide ample opportunity for creative, experiential learning.

This is an outstanding opportunity to help shape the future of a unique specialist provision and lead the continued development of an ambitious learning offer that places children and young people at the centre of everything we do.
