Job Description
Skills for Work and Life Tutor
Full Time and Fixed Term until 31st August 2027
Term Time Only for 42 weeks
Salary: Β£36,353 β Β£38,761 pro rata
Please note, actual salary will be based on the number of term time only weeks worked.
For the full 42 weeks, this is approximately Β£33,046 β Β£35,235.
You will deliver a bespoke curriculum offer (mix of accredited and non-accredited provision), which focuses on developing learner autonomy, independence and holistic personal development.
What are we looking for?
- Educated to degree level or equivalent substantial experience in a teaching role
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, PCET or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience of working with young people who have complex learning needs and/or disabilities (including behaviours which challenge)
- A minimum of two-years teaching experience within a specialist setting
