Job Purpose: To coordinate the admission of prospective and new students into Bevan College, through early engagement with families, schools, support agencies and local authorities. Ensure that the learner journey is mapped via agreed systems and provision is robustly costed, tracked and claimed in line with funding agreements and service terms.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with external agencies to deliver excellent person‑centred outcomes, good working knowledge of inspection and compliance requirements associated with the Care Inspectorate Wales and Estyn, and demonstrable experience of managing placement costings and funding applications with a range of funders.
The post‑holder will work within the framework of the Care Homes Regulations 2001, The National Minimum Standards for Care Homes for Younger Adults and Bevan College's own Quality Standards. Bevan College recognises its responsibility to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students. We apply a rigorous process of checking the suitability of staff and volunteers to work with children and vulnerable adults. This post is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS disclosure for child and adult workforce. Some posts require registration with Social Care Wales.
