This role requires a quick learner who can confidently navigate complex HR policies and processes, apply rules consistently, and deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a large volume of employee and manager queries via the HR case management system, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality responses.
- Assist managers with submitting HR transactions in the HR system (SuccessFactors) by offering clear process guidance, identifying and resolving technical issues, and ensuring changes are raised correctly to avoid delays or errors.
- Provide clear, consistent guidance on NATS policies, procedures and employee terms, in line with NATS agreements and grade structures.
- Process updates in the HR system (SuccessFactors) and generate contractual documentation with a high level of accuracy.
- Maintain employee records in line with GDPR and data quality standards.
- Calculate and maintain annual leave quotas and resolve complex leave calculations and queries.
- Work to strict monthly payroll deadlines, ensuring all changes are processed accurately and on time.

- Previous experience in a HR function with applied knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and transactional processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high workload volumes, conflicting priorities, and tight deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex rules and agreements accurately.
- Strong numerical skills and confidence in applying pay rules and calculations.
- Excellent communication skills—approachable, professional, and able to deliver clear guidance.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint) and comfortable using HR/Payroll systems. Experience with SuccessFactors is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, apply discretion, and work with empathy.
- A strong team player with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
- Quick learner who can adapt to new systems, processes, and complex employment arrangements.
We are proud to offer a fantastic total reward package to help you thrive both personally and professionally. If you share our passion to advance aviation and keep the skies safe – we would like to hear from you whatever your age, sex, race, faith, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, visible or invisible disability.
