The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.

The purpose of the role is to plan, execute, and report on assigned Human Factors technical activities. Other duties include:

  • Completes assigned tasks within agreed timescales, to the required quality standards, and to the satisfaction of the relevant task manager, team leader, or project manager. This includes carrying out scientific, technical, or data analysis under appropriate guidance, drawing technical conclusions, and presenting Human Factors content to various audiences.
  • Supports less experienced colleagues, such as supervising and guiding new graduates or industrial placement students, providing on-the-job training, and knowledge transfer.
  • Contributes to the planning, design, implementation, and reporting of complex technical tasks under supervision, identifying conflicts and escalating concerns as needed.
  • Helps anticipate and solve routine and non-routine technical problems, suggesting improvements to methods and analysis.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement by suggesting innovative and creative solutions to processes and activities.
  • Develops and maintains technical and professional expertise, applying this appropriately to tasks.
  • Responds to queries, advises, and updates customers under guidance, influencing when necessary.
  • Requirements include a degree in a relevant Human Factors subject or equivalent experience, knowledge of NATS and UK ATM operations, understanding of organizational interactions, and expertise in at least one Human Factors technique or tool.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant programming languages, databases, or statistical packages.
  • Capable of producing high-quality, well-documented technical work and demonstrating good communication and team skills.
