The Cyber Business Partnering team has a wide and varied portfolio, working across the organisation to ensure cyber security is embedded, proportionate and aligned to business priorities. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit two Cyber Security Analysts.
These roles are ideal for cyber security generalists or individuals looking to develop depth in one or more cyber security specialisms, while maintaining a broad understanding of cyber risk. Depending on your experience, interests, and development goals, you may work across a combination of the following areas:
- First Line Assurance
- Technical Assurance
- Supply Chain Assurance
- Culture and Engagement
- Incident Support
Our Cyber Security Analysts provide information/cyber security services to the business. They play a key role in assessing, delivering, maintaining and maturing the security practices within the organisation, ensuring that security plans, policies and practices reflect corporate standards and good practices support the business functions, with focus on continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the identification of threats and risks, and help develop and implement mitigating strategies that improve security levels.
- Support the development and maintenance of security standards, policies and practices, aligned with recognised frameworks e.g. ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Assist in developing and maintaining the risk assessment framework and risk register, to support risk assessment activities across the organisation.
- Collaborate with business units to identify and support changes and improvements, to address their security needs and promote compliance and capability development.
- Support assurance and measurement activities on organisational security capabilities, to report findings and recommend actions for improvement.
- Support security improvement initiatives to contribute to enhanced compliance and capability development.
- Maintain awareness of relevant security frameworks, regulation and legislation, to contribute to team discussions and support informed decision-making.

You’ll Ideally Have
- Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security / related field (or equivalent experience)
- CISMP, ISO 27001 Foundation or equivalent professional certification or experience
- Experience in a cyber security, risk, assurance, or related role.
- Knowledge of the relevance of industry standards e.g. ISO27001 and NIST standards
- An understanding of cyber security principles, threats, and controls.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- A pragmatic, risk‑based approach to security.
