Purpose of the Role: The Reporting and Improvement Specialist purpose is to support the Group Quality function by providing reliable data analysis and Quality Management performance reporting to drive improvement and identify risks. To ensure supporting materials and communication media such as webpages are maintained and improved to meet ongoing needs of the business. To develop training materials working alongside business partners that support the delivery of the Quality strategies and the function objectives.

Accountabilities:

  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend and lead on solutions to enhance the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting.
  • Pull together improvement project plans with support from Business Partners and Management System Specialist, provide overview updates to the Head of Quality, Quality Post-Holder (Safety and Sustainability Director) and stakeholders on status.
  • Develop and implement new reporting and data analysis tools, including dashboards and other visual aids, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting.
  • Lead and collaborate with the Quality communities, to ensure that all reporting and improvement requirements are met including annual, quarterly and monthly performance data.
  • Provide training and support to staff to improve their understanding of reporting requirements and tools.
  • Produce regular reports and updates on the company's Quality performance to senior management and stakeholders against agreed timescales and expectations.
  • Support the Quality Business partners and Management System Specialist with training gap analysis and the creation of training materials.
  • Lead and communicate the third-party assessment audits to ensure they run efficiently.
  • Support and promote the BMS service provision, providing resilience for the Management System Specialist.
  • Provide an active lead role in pulling together Quality Improvement projects and provide communications and packs to Business Partners to allow for implementation.
  • Attend meetings and cover when required representing the Group Quality team.

Qualifications, Professional Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and working with power platform to create and maintain dashboards e.g. Power BI etc.
  • Trained Internal auditor to ISO9001 or willing to work towards it.
  • Proven record for analysing complex data, identifying trends and drawing sound conclusions.
  • Lean or Six Sigma experience would be preferable.
  • Experienced in using QH&S tools such as 8D, 5 WHY, Ishikawa, etc.
  • Familiarity with use and configuration of business systems such as QPulse and Pro Mapp or equivalent ideal but not essential.
  • Attention to detail with an ability to summarise facts when presenting data.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and present to external and internal stakeholders including senior leaders with Quality reporting data and risk proportionate improvement ideas and solutions.
  • Good presenting, numeracy and project improvement skill sets.
  • Proficient to work on own and in a team and present material to senior leaders.
  • Adept at networking and building relationships with all levels of management and staff.
  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of risk management and change management.
  • Willing to self-develop by attending training and conducting continuous professional development (CPD).
  • Flexible approach to working and this role may require travel.
