Our mission is simple but ambitious: to fix the food system. We don’t just source exceptional seasonal produce; we’re radically transforming the way people eat, cook, and think about food. For nearly two decades, we have worked directly with independent growers who put flavour first, reconnecting kitchens in London, New York, Paris, Melbourne, Miami, Copenhagen and Malmö with varieties and farming methods that are disappearing fast. Today, we supply over 1,000 of the world’s most forward-thinking restaurants across 3 continents, alongside a growing community of home cooks who care deeply about where their food comes from. From championing seasonal eating and supporting independent growers to rejecting the short-term thinking of intensive agriculture, we’re reimagining supply chains from the ground up, building a more responsible food system rooted in biodiversity, ecosystem health and the transformative power of flavour.
About the Role: As we continue to scale globally and evolve our commercial model, we are looking for a Head of Finance to lead and strengthen the financial backbone of our business. You’ll bring clarity to complexity, support budget holders across multiple regions, and help guide decision-making as we grow.
Reporting to the CEO and working closely with senior leadership, you’ll manage the day-to-day operations of the Finance function, drive strong financial control, and provide critical insights to support regional performance and global expansion. You’ll work in close collaboration with the pricing team, commercial leads, and operations to ensure financial integrity and resilience at every level of the business. An outstanding communicator with strong people management skills are critical as we embark on the next stage of our growth, and you will have demonstrated the ability to build teams and delegate effectively. You will also need strong experience in cash flow management given the nature of our business and its global reach. Additionally, the ability to build complex financial models is instrumental to this role as we manage our growth and explore opportunities.

You’ll ensure we have the insight, systems, and structure to make intelligent, values-aligned decisions as we scale across international markets and deepen our impact. You’ll bring clarity to complexity, challenge with curiosity, embed commercial thinking and financial acumen across our teams and lead with empathy. This is a challenging, complex and rewarding role. It comes with tremendous scope for growth and offers a unique opportunity to do work with a great sense of purpose that will deliver lasting positive impact.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and scale a high-performing Finance function, developing talent and capability across multiple regions.
- Support financial decision-making across multi-country operations (UK, EU, US, Oceania), balancing commercial ambition with responsible growth and operational resilience.
- Partner with the CEO and CCO to refine our economic models across markets and evaluate investment opportunities that align with our mission.
- Lead the budgeting process for all subsidiaries and business units, building and maintaining robust financial models and scenario forecasts to support exec-level decision-making.
- Deliver clear, insightful monthly reporting that can be presented to the Board, regional MDs, and leadership team.
- Support our regional MDs, ops, and commercial teams with margin analysis, pricing strategy, and performance tracking in a way that empowers them to be independently reactive and fast-paced.
- Oversee global financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance, ensuring accuracy and adherence to international accounting standards.
- Lead the audit process and maintain strong internal controls across all regions.
- Manage treasury operations, including cash flow, foreign exchange exposure, and international payments.
- Monitor key financial risks and design mitigation strategies.
- Embed financial literacy and ownership across regions and departments, making sure teams are empowered and financially resilient.
- Evaluate acquisition and expansion opportunities through detailed modelling and forecasting.

- 7+ years of experience in senior finance roles, including leadership of a finance function.
- Proven experience leading finance functions in multi-entity, international organisations.
- Deep experience in cash flow forecasting and management.
- A strong background in FP&A and financial systems, with the ability to scale and optimise processes.
- Track record of building and leading high-performing teams across functions and regions.

- A collaborative, transparent communicator. Able to inspire confidence across teams and functions.
- Purpose-driven, commercially sharp, and guided by integrity in decision-making.
- Excited by complexity, driven by clarity, and focused on long-term value creation.
- Pricing or margin management experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a distribution business is highly desirable.
