Our mission is simple but ambitious: to fix the food system. We don’t just source exceptional seasonal produce; we’re radically transforming the way people eat, cook, and think about food. For nearly two decades, we have worked directly with independent growers who put flavour first, reconnecting kitchens in London, New York, Paris, Melbourne, Miami, Copenhagen and Malmö with varieties and farming methods that are disappearing fast. Today, we supply over 1,000 of the world’s most forward-thinking restaurants across 3 continents, alongside a growing community of home cooks who care deeply about where their food comes from. From championing seasonal eating and supporting independent growers to rejecting the short-term thinking of intensive agriculture, we’re reimagining supply chains from the ground up, building a more responsible food system rooted in biodiversity, ecosystem health and the transformative power of flavour.
About the Role
As Natoora continues to scale across multiple markets, we're looking for a Financial Controller to take ownership of our regional accounting function and help build the financial infrastructure that keeps a complex, fast-moving business running with precision. Reporting to the CFO, this is a role for a seasoned professional who is as comfortable in the detail of a monthly close as they are advising stakeholders on what the numbers mean and why they matter. You'll work across multiple entities across three continents, support a growing international operation, and play a hands‑on role in strengthening the systems and controls that underpin everything we do. It's a role that demands rigour, calm under pressure, and genuine commercial curiosity. In return, you'll be part of a business where the work carries real purpose, and where finance is understood as central to delivering it.
What you'll own
- Lead the regional accounting team in the preparation of accurate, timely monthly management accounts
- Analyse monthly P&Ls and KPIs, providing clear insights and constructive challenge to business stakeholders
- Assist the VP of Finance in developing and strengthening internal financial systems and controls
- Oversee year-end processes across all entities, including audit preparation and management
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax filings across UK and international entities
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as required
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with senior management
- Contribute to financial modelling and scenario planning as the business continues to scale
About you
- Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or ICAEW) preferred
- Minimum 3 years' industry experience in a Financial Controller, Management Accountant, or similar role
- Thorough knowledge of UK GAAP; US GAAP experience is a strong plus
- Proven experience in inventory-based or product-focused businesses
- Strong understanding of general ledger functions and the month‑end/year‑end close process
- Highly proficient in Excel; experience with SAGE Intacct and/or QuickBooks is advantageous
- Calm under pressure, organised, and able to meet tight deadlines without losing the detail
- Excellent communication skills; able to translate financial complexity for non-finance stakeholders
- Additional language skills in French, Italian, or Spanish are a plus
What We Offer
- The chance to deliver meaningful, positive impact through a values‑driven company at the forefront of food system change.
- A passionate, collaborative team committed to building a better food future
- Employee discount on fresh produce across our app and stores
- Daily lunch made with the same seasonal produce we supply to chefs.
- Your birthday off (once you've hit the 6‑month mark).
- Kitchen stocked from our own growers and producers - including Estate Dairy milk and butter, jam from England Preserves as well as coffee from our Spa Terminus neighbours Monmouth.
This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in our London office.
