Natoora started close to 20 years ago with a very simple, yet powerful goal to find incredible flavour in fresh produce. Today, our dedication to this mission has grown into an impactful network of over 500 independent growers spanning nine sourcing hubs across three continents. Our mission is clear: to fix the food system at scale by reinstating flavour, nutrition and transparency, all while safeguarding the health of our soils.
Experts in sourcing flavour-first, seasonal fruits and vegetables, we work with hundreds of kitchens and some of the most exciting and influential chefs in London, New York, Miami, Copenhagen, Paris, and Melbourne. However, our commitment to creating a better food system also extends beyond professional kitchens to a strong community of home consumers across the US and the UK. From chefs, to home cooks to schoolchildren, we want to empower everyone to make better food choices and become informed drivers of change.
Our sourcing efforts also go well beyond fresh produce, tackling multiple facets of the food system at once â from restoring the value of whole grains through bread with our own mill and bakery, Alma, to farming produce directly at Great Fen Farm, and crafting our own range of seasonal dips, soups, and sauces in our Bermondsey kitchen. Whether weâre partnering with independent producers on flavour-first dry goods or developing recipes rooted in our seasonal fresh produce, everything we do is founded on the same principles of seasonality, quality and integrity whilst steadfastly embracing scalability as a source of impact.
On the way, we have been named a Sunday Times Fast Track 100 Company, appeared on the Financial Times' list of Europeâs fastest-growing companies, and proudly received a GQ Food & Drinks Sustainability Award.
ABOUT THE JOB
Weâre looking for a bright, mission-driven Buyer to join our team. Youâll bring your insight and passion to a group with unrivalled knowledge of fruit, vegetables, and specialist produce â all united by a shared commitment to building a radically better supply chain.
With at least three years of experience in the fresh food industry, youâll have a sharp eye for consumer trends and an instinct for sourcing produce at its seasonal peak. Youâll be excited to challenge convention and play a key role in reshaping the way food is farmed and distributed.
For over fifteen years, weâve been building a direct, transparent supply chain that connects more than 400 growers and producers across Europe. In this role, youâll be instrumental in keeping that system running smoothly â using live data to drive availability, reduce waste, and cut non-conformities.
Youâll thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same. Highly organised, full of initiative, and a confident communicator, youâll energise those around you. Above all, youâre motivated by a genuine desire to build a better food future.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the forecasting and purchasing of our Spanish and UK fruit and vegetable category with potential to support and develop other markets.
- Work primarily with Spanish and UK suppliers, while supporting other sourcing regions as needed.
- Identify and resolve supply chain issues through proactive communication with internal teams and suppliers.
- Collaborate closely with sourcing teams in Italy and France to secure the best produce at the right moment.
- Build and maintain longâterm relationships with growers and producers.
- Monitor stock levels, reduce outâofâstocks and overstock, and approve supplier invoices.
ABOUT YOU
- Fluent in Spanish and English â French or Italian is a plus.
- At least 3 years' experience as a food buyer, ideally with exposure to fresh produce.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent Excel skills; confident using tech platforms and live data tools.
- A calm, decisive presence who thrives under pressure.
- Highly motivated, self-starting, and naturally collaborative.
- Value honesty, openness, and team success over personal ego.
- Passionate about driving real change in the food system.
PERKS
- Daily lunch made with the same seasonal produce we supply to top chefs.
- Significant discount on all Natoora produce.
- Your birthday off (after 6 months).
- A stocked kitchen full of the ingredients we believe in.
