You will be responsible for supporting the bakery in sustainable, long‑term growth with the Head Baker and develop growth both within existing Natoora customers and new ones. Reporting directly into our UK MD, we are looking for someone who is keen to share our commitment to fixing the food system with the wider hospitality industry, hungry for sales, hands‑on and excited to work towards ambitious growth targets. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for both produce and hospitality, a talent for building and maintaining strong, long‑lasting relationships and a passion for the bakery category and heritage grain.

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify an achievable pipeline and secure new business within core sectors such as restaurants, hotels and caterers.
  • Work with our Wholesale Sales Manager to identify new leads within our core customer base.
  • Manage, and later define, the roadmap for Alma and coordinate across departments to maximise growth.
  • Work on KPIs and set clear, achievable targets to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Use data to analyse the success of strategies and further drive performance.
  • Work with the Brand team to plan and coordinate strategy and partnerships to reflect Alma’s goals and build growth.
  • Ensure any problems that arise are dealt with smoothly and promptly by the appropriate teams.
  • Work closely with the bakery team to ensure that KPIs are being met.
  • You will be responsible for managing and reporting on a reduced P&L alongside our UK MD and the Head Baker.

About you:

  • You will have excellent knowledge of the UK Hospitality industry across all sectors, from independent restaurants, retailers and large scale contract caterers.
  • At least two years in a comparable role with previous experience in either a business development role or an account management role.
  • Able to analyse both financial and sales data and use that to inform targets and deliver sales results.
  • You should be able to work with a small P&L to ensure that you are building growth with longevity.
  • Motivated by driving sales and delivering growth.
  • Proactive, problem‑solving and calm under pressure.
  • Able to communicate and work across departments.
  • Excellent, professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well organised and able to work to deadlines.
  • Proficient use of Excel is essential, and experience with both Tableau, or a similar tool, and a CRM system would be desirable.

Perks:

  • Natoora produce at a significant discount.
  • Your birthday off (once you’ve hit the 6‑month mark).
  • Lunch made with the same seasonal produce we supply to chefs.
  • Kitchen stocked by our own growers and producers.
