Infosys is looking for an experienced Senior Data Modeler to support a large-scale data modernization and analytics initiative within the Insurance domain. This role focuses on transforming and optimizing enterprise data models from SQL Server to Snowflake to enable scalable analytics, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and understand existing customer data and analytics models built on SQL Server.
- Design and implement efficient, scalable data models on Snowflake.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into optimized data structures.
- Support the transformation of enterprise data models for high-performance analytics and reporting.
- Apply best practices in dimensional modeling, normalization, and metadata management.
- Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to data governance initiatives.
- Mentor junior data modelers and contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and capability building.
- 8β10 years of overall experience, with 5+ years in data modeling and database design.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server and Snowflake data modeling.
- Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
- Solid understanding of data architecture principles and data governance.
- Proven experience in the Insurance domain (London Market, Specialized Insurance, Regulatory Data).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cloud data platforms.
- Exposure to Fivetran, SSIS, or advanced Snowflake features.
