We are seeking a Salesforce Solutions Architect to provide technical leadership within Agile Scrum teams, delivering scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions. The role focuses on translating business requirements into robust solutions while ensuring adherence to Salesforce best practices and platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical design authority for Salesforce solutions within Agile Scrum teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to refine backlog, review requirements for feasibility, and define user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify dependencies, technical risks, and provide guidance on solution complexity and implementation approaches.
  • Support developers throughout sprints to ensure alignment with agreed architecture and Salesforce best practices.
  • Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce Platform.
  • Define solution patterns for data model design, automation strategies (Flow vs Apex), integration approaches, and security and access models.
  • Produce architecture artifacts, including solution diagrams, data models, integration flows, and design decisions.
  • Advise teams on Salesforce capabilities and the 'art of the possible.'
  • Recommend solutions prioritizing out‑of‑the‑box functionality and declarative configuration.
  • Provide guidance on Flow and declarative automation, Apex development, Lightning Web Components, Platform Events, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Ensure solutions comply with Salesforce limits, performance considerations, and best practices.
  • Ensure Salesforce solutions integrate effectively with the wider enterprise ecosystem.
  • Define and validate integration patterns using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and middleware platforms such as MuleSoft.
  • Define sustainable data flows, ownership models, and synchronization patterns.
  • Ensure new functionality aligns with organizational Salesforce architecture and governance standards.
  • Conduct design and solution reviews to maintain quality, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Identify technical risks early and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Support teams in maintaining high standards of documentation, testing, and technical quality.
  • Act as a technical advisor to Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Provide structured recommendations balancing business value, technical complexity, and platform sustainability.

Desired Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect.
  • Additional certifications: Platform Developer, Integration Architecture Designer, Data Architecture Designer.
  • Experience with complex Salesforce transformations or multi-system integrations.
