Job Title: Project / Program Manager

Location: Basildon, Essex, UK (Fully Onsite)

Contract Duration: 6 months

Scope of Role

You will report to the Programme Director and/or Programme Manager, owning full responsibility for delivering projects from planning through to closeout. You’ll coordinate multi-functional teams (including 3rd parties), manage risk, and ensure delivery within time, scope, and budget.

Responsibilities

Planning

Define project brief and delivery approach

Set and manage client expectations

Establish project governance in line with methodology

Build business case and secure stakeholder approvals

Create high-level schedules, cost/resource estimates

Plan for testing, training, communication & transition

Execution

Maintain project controls, plans, budgets, timelines

Regularly report status to stakeholders

Facilitate governance meetings & steer corrective actions

Manage cross-functional & 3rd party teams

Track actuals vs. budget; manage time reporting

Monitor risks, issues, and change requests

Closeout

Gain formal acceptance from sponsor

Conduct project closure and lessons learned

Finalise contracts, archive materials

Support seamless handover to BAU

Additional Notes

Weekend support may be required during implementation
