Technicians should possess either site/data center knowledge or relevant certifications to handle network tasks and wireless Access Point installation at height. Technicians must have basic network knowledge to support remote resolver groups or to handle detailed service requests as described under the scope section.

Requirements for Site Survey Engineer:

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in conducting physical and active wireless surveys, including report preparation.
  • Must carry their own laptop equipped with survey tools.
  • Proficiency in English and the local language of the respective country.
  • Necessary health and safety certifications applicable in the respective countries.
  • Appropriate safety gear such as helmets, goggles, safety shoes, and reflective jackets based on requirements.
  • Legal license to work at heights, as per local regulations.
  • Device with hotspot or mobile data pack to ensure remote access without relying on client internet.
  • Experience in identifying and installing various types of passive cables and SFPs.
  • Knowledge of network configuration and troubleshooting at L1 level is an advantage.
