Location: Alzey, Germany
Work mode: On site at warehouse location only (5 days a week). No remote working expected.
Contract duration: 12 months
Must-have skills:
- SAP EWM knowledge and Spanish speaking
- Warehouse operators and customer facing
- Willingness to work in shifts, including night shift
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 support for EWM business team
- Liaise with client business teams and support day-to-day operations, resolving L1 issues and raising incidents for connected teams
- Coordinate with customer on a daily basis and win customer confidence
- Use SNOW ticketing tool
- Work in EWM space in ECC EWM 9.5 or S/4 HANA EWM 1909 or onwards
- Understand integration with Warehouse Automation and MES system
- Integrate with other satellite systems/vendors for issue analysis and resolution
- Advise on day-to-day operations
- Align with EWM IT team for Change Requests and execute informal testing
- Propose workarounds for issues needing immediate resolution
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience in EWM hands-on work in warehouse support or support projects
- Experience integrating EWM with automated systems (ASRS, AGV, LIFT, Scheduler, AMR, conveyors, pallet exchangers)
- Experience integrating EWM with MES and S4 modules (Manufacturing and Quality Management)
- Strong knowledge of EWM core areas (Inventory Management, Stock transfers, Special stocks, Stock types, Physical Inventory, Account Determination and Valuation, Integration with ECC, Inbound/Outbound Processing, Physical Inventory, RF Transactions, HU Management, Transportation Units, Production Integration, Kitting, Cold chain management)
- Good knowledge of integration with SD, MM, PP, QM modules
- Understanding of business processes in life sciences/pharmaceutical domain
- Ability to understand business requirements and prepare requirement document, functional specifications
- Good understanding of GXP and SOX requirements; experience in highly regulated environment
- Aware of release governance processes; experience with incident management tool and testing tool
- Handled post go-live stabilization and critical issue resolution
- Experience with non-ECC systems (MES, WES) using interfaces such as PI, ALE, REST
- Basic understanding of custom code and basic debugging skills
