About The Job
Based in Northwood, UK you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will be responsible for overseeing logistics services to NCIA entities and external customers. This includes requisitions, storage, receipt & distribution, exchange of equipment, stock management, disposal and property accountability for ICT/non‑ICT assets in accordance with NCIA policy, including local policy. You will also act as an advisor to the local operational lead, NCIA entities, and customers. Oversees and plans annual inventory inspections and equipment discrepancies are fully investigated in accordance with NCIA directives. Provides mandatory asset management reports in accordance with NCIA policy or upon request. Ensure property accounting structure is consistent with NATO Finance Regulations.
About You
We’re looking for a talented and knowledgeable Principle Technician professional with ideally a Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post‑related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 5 years post‑related experience. A different qualification coupled with particularly relevant experience may also be considered.
- Demonstrable experience in Supply, Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as ERP oracle based systems.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and equipment handling.
- Experience in inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- 2-4 years in warehouse logistics or inventory control.
- Supervising or coordinating warehouse staff and daily operations.
- Managing shipping and receiving processes, stock replenishment, and cycle counts.
- Experience with logistics software and data entry accuracy.
- Forklift license.
Knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is essential and some knowledge of French is desirable.
