Assistance with month-end fast close process for the NIMI ELAME region, including coordination and support across the following BDUs: UK, Dubai, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Spain, and LATAM.
Work with and help manage third party accounting relationships while providing support and finance oversight over the BDUs in ELAME. Arrange quarterly/monthly meetings with the TPAs in each region/BDU.
Assist in monitoring budget across BDU, organise quarterly meetings with BDU heads to discuss and review budgets. Be a point of escalation for BDUs with regards to accounts payable and expenses.
Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with Group policies, UK accounting standards, and local statutory requirements; support internal audit requests.
Reporting: Prepare or assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports; assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements as required.
Tax and Governance: Assist with VAT/Tax compliance, transfer pricing, and regulatory filings; liaise with external and internal auditors as needed.
Process Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies; contribute to simplification and standardization of financial processes across ELAME.
Data Integrity: Maintain accurate master data in systems; support data validation and integrity checks.
Ad hoc Projects: Participate in regional finance initiatives, system implementations, and process improvement projects.
