Job Description

The role requires the capability to manage in full autonomy all stages of a transaction from the design phase to post-closing. This includes but is not limited to the following duties: (i) sourcing, (ii) negotiations, (iii) implementation with the relevant support functions (risks, middle office, back office, tax, legal, norms, etc…), (iv) distribution and (v) monitoring.

Other duties of the role include preparing pitchbooks while staying up to date on recent regulation and market trends.

In addition to a strong experience in alternative credit structuring and real assets, the essential qualities for this role include excellent interpersonal skills, active listening abilities, strong teamwork, project management skills, autonomy with a high sense of organization and the ability to work in a demanding environment.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

As a Structured Credit professional, you will be responsible for executing structured credit transactions backed by real assets (i.e. real estate, infrastructure, data centers). This could take the form of loan-on-loan financings and TRS for example.
In addition to the structuring role, you will also be required to (i) help the coverage and sales team source new opportunities from alternative asset managers and banks and (ii) help syndicate the transactions executed to investors.
You will work in full collaboration with the other members (sales, structuring, syndication and trading) of the Alternative Credit Group based in EMEA and in particular those in London and Paris.
