As a team lead, manage the DevProx team on a day-to-day basis and serve as the first point of contact between Dev Prox and the business and other IT teams. Provide direction and manage key deliveries as per business requirements. Additionally, organize and manage business prioritization of deliveries. Ability to communicate at different levels of management. Work on projects for the CM IT DevProx team (PROximity DEVelopment), responsible for providing the business (Commodities Market) with flexible, scalable, and tailored user software applications where proximity developments and resources are necessary. Main stakeholders include, but are not limited to, Front Office (trading, sales, and structuring). The team also provides control and support to teams like Middle Office and Risk. The role is hands-on and involves developing and managing projects from initiation to delivery. Main development areas include pricing tools, market data internal contribution, risk management tools, and reporting tools. The team contributes to designing and implementing a resilient, efficient, and scalable Information System for CM, in close cooperation with other relevant IT, business, and operational teams in London and worldwide. Responsibility Breakdown Communication / Stakeholder Management – 30% Team Management – 20% Hands-On Development – 50% Work closely with Head Office (Paris) teams, especially Dev Prox, and leverage processes with Head Office. Be nimble to work on projects & BAU support issues. Strong, clear, and precise communication (oral & written) is a key requirement. Speaking French is an advantage. Main Responsibilities: Provide technical solutions to business needs, following best practices and standards. Drive change and promote strategic solutions for long-term benefits. Show urgency on business-related issues and manage expectations. Develop pricing tools for all commodity assets (energy, metals, carbon emissions, indexes, gas). Handle market data contributions (real-time, end-of-day) for these assets. The team ensures support and maintenance of all its developments within an agile framework. Provide the business with software applications following in-house proximity development lifecycle: collection of user needs, analysis, solution proposals, implementation, support, documentation, bug tracking, and continuous evolution. Make recommendations regarding architecture, technologies, and IT solutions. Conduct analysis, problem-solving, and escalation as needed. Follow the global proximity development team\’s standards, methodologies, and procedures. Collaborate with CM IT Quants, MOA, MOE, and other relevant teams. Conduct training and skills assessments periodically. Follow branch compliance rules. Propose new projects, lead dev prox topics, focusing on innovative solutions, new business activities/products, and efficiency opportunities. Reporting includes providing timely updates to management, supporting trading hours, managing on-call support for US desks, and ensuring adequate team support in London during business hours. Work towards system stability, operational risk mitigation, and avoiding production outages. Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience Business experience: Development & maintenance of IT systems, understanding of financial markets, derivatives, front-office exposure, commodities trading knowledge (preferred), minimum 10 years\’ experience with 2-3 years as a team lead. Technical skills: 5+ years in .NET C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, WPF, Microservices, Angular/AngularJS, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Visual Studio, RMDS, Bloomberg API, Reuters EIKON, JetBrain Rider. Personal skills: Strong interest in global markets, fast learner, proactive, excellent communication skills (business and technical). Additional skills: Extensive experience with Agile methodologies, Sprints, Kanban, DevOps, liaising with senior management, and strong communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
