Job Description
Overall purpose of the role:
Participate in the EMEA SECM origination and marketing of business opportunities to further develop Natixis\βs commercial activity, with a focus on Middle East activity and cross-border listed equity transactions involving a Middle-East shareholder.
Main responsibilities of the role:
- Strengthen the dialogue around the SECM offering, mainly on the strategic equity and equity advisory pillars of SECM.
- Expand access to Middle East holdings, family offices, SWFs, and corporates.
- Foster a collaborative dialogue with EFG Hermes to explore joint opportunities on SECM-related matters for their family office clients.
- Enhance engagement with local Middle East advisors and expand networking opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as ASF, DCM, Global Trade, Coverage, and Industry Bankers to identify new opportunities.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop SECM business in the Middle East, focusing on strategic equity transactions.
- Work closely with all SECM teams and other internal teams to prospect potential clients and strengthen relationships.
- Educate internally on SECM solutions and their value for clients.
- Pitch SECM solutions to clients in coordination with Relationship Managers.
- Involve actively in deal origination: analyze sectorial, financial, and market information to identify client needs.
- Perform financial analysis, valuation, and market analysis.
- Coordinate client pitches and lead transaction execution.
Internal & external relations:
- SECM department and other teams (origination, structuring, trading, legal, etc.)
- Natixis Coverage and Sector teams
- Other Natixis and IB teams (M&A, ASF, DCM, financing)
- Prospects and clients
- External advisors (legal, etc.)
