We are seeking a Trade Support Associate to join our Global Markets team in London.
This is a Front Office-facing role where you'll work closely with Traders and Sales, supporting the end-to-end trade lifecycle across Equities and Equity Derivatives. You'll play a key role in ensuring trades are accurately booked, validated, and managed while maintaining a strong control environment and delivering exceptional support to the trading desk.
If you thrive in a fast-paced trading floor environment and enjoy working directly with the Front Office, this is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing global markets business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle, from trade capture and validation through to settlement and lifecycle events.
- Support Front Office Traders and Sales with trade bookings, amendments, cancellations, and trade-related queries.
- Monitor and manage lifecycle events across Equity and Equity Derivatives products.
- Perform daily controls, reconciliations, and exception management to ensure trade accuracy and minimise operational risk.
- Investigate and resolve booking, settlement, and trade-related issues in collaboration with Risk, Product Control, Technology, Middle Office, and Operations teams.
- Build strong relationships with Front Office stakeholders while delivering a high level of service and operational support.
- Contribute to process improvements, control enhancements, and operational efficiency initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in Trade Support, Front Office Support, or Middle Office within the Global Markets division of an investment bank.
- Strong knowledge of Equities and Equity Derivatives, with experience supporting the full trade lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience working directly with Traders and Sales in a Front Office environment.
- Experience using Sophis for trade booking, maintenance, and lifecycle event management is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of trade controls, reconciliations, operational risk, and post-trade processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive self-starter with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure.
