Are you a detail-oriented financing professional with experience across agency banking, syndicated lending and loan operations? This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing Financing Operations team supporting complex credit facilities across a broad range of asset classes and products. You’ll play a key role in the end-to-end lifecycle of financing transactions — partnering closely with Front Office, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution, accurate implementation and ongoing monitoring of complex lending deals. This is a highly visible role suited to someone who enjoys working at the centre of deal execution, risk management and operational control within a fast-paced Corporate & Investment Banking environment.

The Opportunity

As part of the Financing Operations Middle Office team, you will support both new and existing credit facilities across multiple business lines, acting as a critical link between Front Office and the wider bank. You’ll be involved in structuring, implementation, monitoring and repayment of financing transactions, ensuring deals are operationally feasible, correctly documented and accurately reflected across internal systems. This is a broad and hands-on role with exposure to a wide range of financing products including Fund Finance, Acquisition Finance, Real Estate, ACG and Capital Markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day middle office support across new and existing credit facilities
  • Act as a key operational partner to Front Office teams across lending and structured finance products
  • Review and comment on deal structures, facility documentation and transaction terms at structuring, closing and post-closing stages
  • Ensure transactions are aligned with approved credit terms, internal policy and operational feasibility requirements
  • Manage agency responsibilities across bilateral and syndicated transactions, acting in both Agent and Participant capacities
  • Support Facility and Security Agent responsibilities across a range of complex financing transactions
  • Ensure all deals are accurately set up and maintained in internal systems, including LoanIQ
  • Monitor facility activity including covenants, collateral, security packages, repayments, waivers and post-closing obligations
  • Oversee reporting across all business lines including covenant, activity, unpaid, sell-down and exception reporting
  • Partner closely with Front Office, Risk, Finance, Legal, Compliance and Loan Administration teams to ensure smooth execution and ongoing monitoring
  • Escalate risks, issues and exceptions appropriately while maintaining strong control standards and data integrity
  • Provide technical support and subject matter expertise to colleagues across the team

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a Middle Office, Loan Operations, Agency Management or Financing Operations role within Corporate / Investment Banking
  • Strong understanding of agency banking, including bilateral and syndicated loan structures
  • Experience supporting lending transactions across products such as Fund Finance, Acquisition Finance, Real Estate, ACG and Capital Markets
  • Solid knowledge of lending workflows, lender risk, client risk and post-close facility monitoring
  • Experience reviewing facility documentation, financial covenants and security packages
  • Familiarity with Facility Agent / Security Agent responsibilities
  • Strong technical skills, particularly Excel and emerging AI tools
  • Experience with LoanIQ preferred; exposure to DebtDomain, ClearPar, SWORD or similar platforms is advantageous
  • Strong control mindset with excellent attention to detail and ownership of process
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across Front Office and support functions
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment

Why Join?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and high-impact team at the centre of financing execution within a leading Corporate & Investment Bank. You’ll gain broad exposure across lending products, work closely with senior stakeholders and play a critical role in supporting complex transactions from origination through to repayment.
