Job Description

This role involves the day‑to‑day management of Global Markets Operations in the UK and oversight across EMEA. As Head of GMO UK the candidate will manage and control the processing of all London‑originated transactions, deliver operational efficiency and appropriate controls for all transactions booked and processed in London, as well as for transactions booked in London but processed in Paris Global Markets Operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the UK Global Market Operations team and coordinating with the EMEA GMO team.
• Supervising transaction processing, monitoring process performance in line with global standards.
• Acting as an escalation point for all GMO‑related matters.
• Ensuring global consistency through implementation of best practices, golden rules, and processing guidelines.
• Coordinating projects between Head Office and sites.
• Monitoring regional controls and reducing operational risk.
• Contributing to financial monitoring, including costs, head counts, budgets, and reviews with country COOs.
• Driving objective setting and performance evaluation for all GMO teams.
• Providing leadership in the restructuring and day‑to‑day management of the department, promoting a strong performance culture.
• Maintaining quality of service to Business Support clients, including Front Office Sales and Traders.
• Supporting new business lines and initiatives, applying problem‑solving and management skills.
• Ensuring internal controls and reconciliations across products, reducing operational risk.
• Maintaining knowledge of trade lifecycle and coordination with Paris and other control functions.
• Analyzing, reporting, and resolving outstanding issues.
• Developing monthly management reporting and dashboards consistent with Natixis operational and financial goals.

Projects Management

Drive operational efficiency projects and impact on GM setup across the UK and EMEA operations based on regional business lines.
