Overall purpose of the role The ASF London team originates and executes sponsor-driven and leveraged corporate acquisition finance transactions in the UK&I, DACH, Benelux, and Scandinavia, while supporting broader EMEA origination efforts out of London. The team also originates and executes Private Equity Sponsor Finance transactions across Western Europe. Poste et missions An Associate in the ASF London team works under the supervision of a senior deal team member, supporting the presentation of the bank\'s debt capabilities to financial sponsors and corporates. The role involves supporting deal teams in identifying financial sponsor-driven and leveraged corporate transactions, enabling Natixis to underwrite and syndicate leveraged loans, High Yield bonds, and Private Equity Sponsor Finance loans. Main responsibilities of the role: Originate, arrange, and execute leveraged finance transactions primarily for PE sponsors in UK and Northern Europe (UK, Benelux, Nordics, Germany, Switzerland) with an originate-to-distribute and product-agnostic approach (Term Loans, high yield bonds). Identify deal opportunities by recognizing potential transactions and collaborating with Sponsor Coverage to initiate engagement with interested sponsors. Manage the pitching phase, including initial transaction analysis, defining Natixis\' financing views, and preparing marketing materials to showcase Natixis’ capabilities and views on specific opportunities. Negotiate and discuss commercial points with the syndication team. Support the deal team in preparing internal presentations, memos, and materials for BizCom and Credit Committee approvals. Maintain relationships with financial sponsors, manage deal dynamics, and persuade sponsors to choose Natixis as their financing bank. Conduct in-depth analysis of new opportunities focusing on credit and underwriting risks. Manage internal credit processes and support transaction presentations to committees. Proactively monitor and review portfolio exposures. Promote a client-centric culture, deliver excellent service to clients, and facilitate cross-selling with other business lines. Negotiate term sheets and legal documentation with sponsors and their legal counsel for syndicated loans and High Yield bonds. Coordinate with various teams within Natixis (Financial Sponsors Coverage, Syndications, Sales & Trading, Investment Banking, etc.) to execute transactions. Train and develop junior team members.
