The Opportunity

The SMB Account Manager is responsible for managing a high-volume portfolio of Small and Medium Business advertisers, focusing on retention, repeat spend, and account growth. This role is intentionally category-based. Success comes from strong product knowledge, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently. You’ll help SMB clients get value from native quickly, run effective campaigns, and return again.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Managing a high-volume portfolio of SMB advertisers with clear revenue and retention targets
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for your accounts, ensuring a smooth and positive client experience
  • Advising clients on suitable native products and packages based on their goals and budgets
  • Renewing, upselling, and cross-selling activity in a straightforward, value-led way
  • Working closely with Campaign Management to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on time
  • Responding quickly and clearly to client queries and requests
  • Managing pipeline, renewals, and forecasting accurately via CRM tools

  • Experience in account management, sales support, or customer-facing roles
  • Comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities at pace
  • Clear, confident communicator who can explain products simply and effectively
  • Commercially aware and comfortable having pricing and renewal conversations
