native has been building for 10 years, but we're still very much a startup: fast-moving, ambitious, and building with intent. We're creating the infrastructure that connects students, Students’ Unions, universities, and advertisers through a managed marketplace. Our goal is to deliver for students by increasing student engagement while enabling Students’ Unions to secure sustainable funding. For advertisers, we offer meaningful, measurable routes to student audiences. The more aligned these incentives are, the more defensible and scalable our business becomes.

The Opportunity

We're hiring a Junior Account Executive to join our outbound sales team. You will play a pivotal role in connecting local and regional advertisers with student fairs by identifying and engaging potential clients. We’ve run similar fairs for many years with great success, and are now looking to expand our offering across the full academic year. This is a demanding yet rewarding role, offering clear goals and opportunities for professional growth and commercial success!

What you’ll be working on

  • Managing Qualified Opportunities: Take ownership of qualified leads passed over by our SDR team, guiding prospects through the sales process from initial discovery to close.
  • Discovery & Consultative Selling: Conduct engaging discovery calls to understand each customer’s needs, tailor your approach, and demonstrate how our solution can deliver value.
  • Presenting & Closing: Deliver compelling sales conversations, overcome objections with confidence, negotiate where appropriate, and successfully convert opportunities into customers.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an organised and healthy sales pipeline, ensuring every opportunity is progressed efficiently and no potential customer is left behind.
  • Target Achievement: Meet or exceed individual and team KPIs, including revenue, conversion rates, and sales activity targets.
  • CRM & Sales Administration: Keep accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and next steps within our CRM to ensure excellent pipeline visibility and forecasting.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the SDR team, Team Lead, and wider commercial team to share feedback, improve conversion rates, and continuously refine the customer journey.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and is excited by the challenge of turning conversations into customers. You’ll enjoy building relationships, understanding customer needs, and confidently guiding prospects through the sales process. Specifically, you will bring:

  • Desirable experience if you have worked in a B2B SaaS led environment.
  • Strong discovery, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • Confidence handling objections and navigating sales conversations to achieve positive outcomes.
  • A results-driven mindset, motivated by meeting and exceeding revenue and conversion targets.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage a pipeline of opportunities, prioritise follow-ups and keep deals moving forward.
  • Experience using a CRM to manage your sales pipeline and maintain accurate customer records. Familiarity with HubSpot would be an advantage.
  • A proactive, resilient attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers find the right solution.
