About The Team

Our Data Analytics team is on an exciting journey to build a scalable, well-structured, and high-quality data ecosystem that empowers our strategic workstreams in marketing, customer experience, product and integrations. But our impact goes far beyond that. We support a wide variety of internal teams including Finance and HR, ensuring that every part of the business has the data they need to make informed decisions.

We’re in the process of standardizing our data practices, optimizing our reporting tools, and centralizing business logic, creating a huge opportunity to make a lasting impact. Your Contribution

  • Execute intricate data transformations using SQL and advanced dbt strategies, including flexible scripting and reusable components.
  • Construct and maintain data structures that incorporate business rules, supporting diverse applications such as search indexing, product usage, e-commerce, financial tracking, and customer journey understanding.
  • Build, refine, and manage data structures within BigQuery, optimized for data-informed operations.
  • Produce clear and thorough documentation for data structures, transformations, and validation procedures.
  • Work closely with data users, BI developers, and business partners to understand and address their data needs
  • Explain technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Demonstrated experience in data transformation roles
  • Strong skills in SQL and established data warehousing and modeling techniques
  • Proficiency in dbt, including flexible scripting, reusable components, and modular data transformations.
  • Familiarity with BigQuery or other cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Experience ensuring data accuracy and quality, including developing and maintaining data validation procedures
  • Experience in product usage analytics
  • Experience using Git/GitHub for collaborative version control
  • Familiarity with Airbyte for data extraction and loading
  • Experience with Python to supplement SQL, dbt workflows, data processing and automation tasks
