This is an exciting opportunity to join our operational team at Crownworks, Birmingham as a Maintenance Technician. The role of Maintenance Technician is an integral member of the team, responsible for all maintenance tasks on site and delivering excellent customer service to our residents. You will be friendly and approachable with a can-do attitude.

You will be responsible for all technical and mechanical work that ensures the inside and external buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the community meet standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality by performing maintenance-related tasks. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance of the community, including overall inspections, repairs, and general maintenance of ready apartments and other interior/exterior areas.
  • Completing assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service, as well as routine upkeep on the property by diagnosing the source or cause of the defect or problem, and making repairs in accordance with established policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in executing exceptional customer service within a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Completing documentation and other paperwork timely and accurately so that service requests can be appropriately documented and tracked.
  • Excellent relationship building skills, both with entirely new and long-term residents and team members.
  • Being an efficient and organised individual with excellent communication skills and a sensitive, professional, and well-mannered nature.
  • Working exceptionally well within a team dynamic and contributing to an established open culture.
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
