The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring that the customer experience in your branch is the best on the high street. Your leadership skills and keen commercial mind will drive the best results from your team. This role is a 10‑Month secondment opportunity working full‑time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday. You must be within a 45‑minute commute of the branch. Your training will be based virtually in branch. The first 3 weeks are critical to your success – no holiday is taken during this period.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working on the branch floor alongside your team, ensuring they are fully trained and performing at their best.
  • Managing a high level of customer expectations, having in‑depth knowledge of our products and services, and creating and implementing the branch’s business plan.
  • Using our computer systems and processes – training is provided.

About you:

  • As a minimum requirement, you must be able to take control of your branch, lead your people, meet FCA standards, deliver top‑notch customer service, and create positive outcomes.
  • You should have experience managing people and working in a busy retail environment, with a commercial understanding and knowledge of financial regulations and processes.
  • Strong monitoring and analytical skills to identify opportunities and enhance customer outcomes are essential.
  • Resilience, versatility, and flexibility are required to prioritize effectively and deal with changing requests.
  • Previous experience as a branch manager in a retail environment is desirable.
