Are you ready for a role where empathy truly matters? As a Service Consultant, you’ll be a trusted point of contact for some of our most vulnerable members and for the families and colleagues who support them. You’ll take the time to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and understand what someone really needs. Working across our systems and with teams across the Society, you’ll provide clear, accurate guidance. Sometimes that means connecting a member with one of our specialists. Other times, it’s signposting them towards trusted external support. Whatever the situation, you’ll make sure they feel heard, reassured and supported. It’s meaningful work that helps people feel safer, more confident, and less alone.

This is a full‑time role of 35 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. You’ll also work 1 in every 4 Saturdays, from 9am to 1pm (you will receive this time back in the week).

At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.
