As a Senior UI Designer within our Originations Design team, you'll help create best-in-class digital experiences that differentiate Nationwide and support our digital society aspirations. You'll play a hands-on role in designing the journeys that help people become Nationwide members and access products such as current accounts, savings, loans and credit cards, making complex experiences feel simple, accessible and visually engaging.
You'll take day-to-day responsibility for design activity across all stages of a project, from research, ideation and prototyping through to low and high-fidelity interface design, interaction design, developer hand-off and design specifications. Your work will meet or exceed our quality standards while supporting Nationwide's regulatory and compliance obligations.
You'll work closely with User Experience Designers, Content Designers, Researchers, Engineers, Product teams and stakeholders to translate customer needs, business goals and technical requirements into clear, effective interfaces. You'll contribute to workshops and interviews with members, colleagues and subject matter experts, and confidently present your work to peers and internal audiences.
As a senior member of the team, you'll support the Nationwide Experience Language design system by helping curate and evolve libraries, components, visual guidance and patterns so our brand is represented consistently across digital experiences. You'll champion design excellence, support continuous improvement and may coach or mentor more junior designers.
We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your best.
