We are looking for a proactive Business Operations Analyst to join our Internal Audit Strategy & Operations team. This role focuses on supporting the function’s use of technology and systems that underpin audit operations, offering a great opportunity to contribute to enabling audit through data, technology, and smarter ways of working. You will play a hands‑on role in the day‑to‑day management of audit systems, producing meaningful management information (MI), maintaining data quality, and supporting the adoption of new tools, including automation and AI. This role is key to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of Internal Audit by providing high‑quality operational support across systems, MI reporting, and user training. Working collaboratively across Internal Audit, you will help improve processes and enable more effective and efficient ways of working. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the overall effectiveness of the function. What you’ll be doing:

  • Support the development and continuous improvement of Internal Audit systems, helping to introduce new capabilities that enhance the efficiency and insightfulness of audit delivery.
  • Work with data to design and develop reports and dashboards, transforming information into meaningful insights that support effective decision‑making.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on audit tools, acting as a key point of contact for systems and processes.
  • Help improve data quality, streamline processes, and embed more effective ways of working across the function.

About you:

  • Experience working with data, reporting, or systems (e.g. Excel, Power BI, or similar tools).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify insights.
  • Experience using technology or tools to improve efficiency, processes, or reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high‑quality outputs.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
