Instructional Designer in Swindon

We are seeking an Instructional Designer who is passionate about creating legendary learning experiences and has a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality blended learning solutions that put both our members and colleagues at the centre of everything we do. As part of our forward-thinking Learning & Development (L&D) team, you will use your expertise in consultancy and technical design to develop inclusive learning programmes that drive business growth and support our commitment to exceptional service.

This role is within Colleague, Engagement & Enablement (CEE) as part of the Retail L&D team, which is responsible for designing, developing and delivering onboarding, upskill and holistic learning solutions for Retail. We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your best. The working hours for this role can be between 28 and 35 hours. This is a 12-month secondment opportunity. Responsibilities:

• Providing expert learning design consultation to identify problem statements.
• Producing world-class learning solutions ensuring our learning solutions drive the best colleague and member outcomes.
• Following the ADDIE Model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation).
• Consulting with stakeholders of all levels, understanding the problem statement and appropriate success measures.
• Designing the right solutions with appropriate engagement.
• Implementing your solution and adapting as improvements need to be made.
• Assessing how the project landed.

About you:

• Demonstrate high levels of technical and non-technical design skills.
• Have exceptional organisational skills and be successful in managing projects through the whole project life cycle.
• Have strong stakeholder management skills and can quickly build effective relationships with colleagues.
• Be a confident communicator who can provide expert and professional L&D consultancy and make credible and commercially focused recommendations.
• Have a curious & analytical mindset, be comfortable challenging the norm and be a proactive problem solver.
• Demonstrate a positive, solutions-oriented mindset, showing resilience and optimism in the face of challenges.
• Have experience of optimising learning through delivery of blended solutions.
