No two days are the same. Activities could include supporting brokers with mortgage enquiries, reviewing applications, helping resolve customer or intermediary issues, analysing market trends and customer feedback, and contributing to improvement projects.

Working with colleagues across the business, you’ll build relationships that help Nationwide understand customer needs and solve problems. Every interaction is an opportunity to help deliver simply brilliant experiences for our customers and intermediary partners.

Along the way, you’ll develop transferable skills in communication, customer service, stakeholder management, analysis, problem solving and commercial awareness. The placement places strong emphasis on learning, potential and future development rather than previous experience.

There will also be opportunities to build confidence through workshops, simulations and practical learning experiences designed to support your development.

Successful completion of the placement may help shape future career choices and could provide a route into one of our Skills Development Programmes after university.
