This role resides in the Chief Operating Office - AI Governance, Risk & Compliance (COO AI GRC) function, together we serve over 20 million customers – shaping the financial future for nearly a third of the UK’s population. We have committed to adopt innovative solutions with the aid of AI and emerging technologies. Your work will ensure AI solutions are delivered responsibly, safeguarding our members and supporting Nationwide’s purpose of banking for the good of society.

You’ll be part of a high performing and committed 1st line risk team and a larger cross-functional team of the AI Council comprising risk SMEs, AI engineers and Tech strategy specialists. Your deliverables will involve working with stakeholders, building & maintaining relationships, challenging the status quo and being an ambassador of Responsible AI adoption in the fast-paced world of AI-powered transformation.

For this job you will be located at our nearest regional hub. There will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events in one of our office sites.
