This is a high impact role where you’ll combine commercial leadership, strategic thinking and customer insight to drive performance and unlock new opportunities.
As the commercial owner of the portfolio, you’ll take the lead in understanding what drives business performance, identifying where value is created, and turning insight into action. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.
For this job you'll be located at our nearest regional office or hub. There will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration and in some locations you’ll be expected to spend at least two days a week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, in the office.
If we receive a high volume of relevant applications, we may close the advert earlier than the advertised date, so please apply as soon as you can.
What you’ll be doing
You'll play a key role in shaping the commercial performance and future direction of our credit card portfolio, using customer insight, portfolio economics and market understanding to identify opportunities for growth and long‑term value creation. Working closely with Commercial, Finance and Risk teams, you'll use data‑driven insights to influence pricing, acquisition and credit strategies, balancing commercial success with strong risk management and excellent customer outcomes.
You'll take ownership of portfolio performance, bringing together financial, customer and risk data to evaluate results, forecast future performance and identify actions that will drive growth. By understanding how customers engage, spend, borrow and repay, you'll develop targeted strategies across the customer lifecycle, improving acquisition, activation, retention and overall portfolio value while ensuring every initiative delivers measurable results.
Alongside leading commercial planning and opportunity management, you'll help ensure our products, pricing and customer interventions deliver fair value and meet Consumer Duty requirements. Partnering with colleagues across Risk, Finance and Compliance, you'll oversee customer and commercial outcomes, proactively managing risks and ensuring sustainable growth that benefits both our customers and the business.
