We are seeking an E2 level engineer to join the Hosting Landing Zone platform team, primarily in a technical, infrastructure related role. You will need to have a broad appreciation of Infrastructure Hosting technologies, including virtualisation, compute, network & storage but have a good understanding of IT security tools and practises. The ideal candidate will work alongside an existing team of engineers across different functional areas, support governance frameworks and be capable of communicating technical concepts across a range of stakeholders.

For this job you\’ll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you\’ll spend 40% of your working time, based at our Swindon office. What you\’ll be doing

  • Work alongside our partners and internal teams on the technical implementation of security related activity. This includes Privileged Access Management via CyberArk, vulnerability management and Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM).
  • The work will be aligned to recognised security frameworks such as PCI-DSS and CIS.
  • You will be engaged in project and operational tasks, including raising changes & incident management.
  • You will maintain and govern existing solution/infra designs including representation at respective DA (Design Authorities)
  • You will be comfortable working across disciplines, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting continuous learning and development.

  • You\’ll have broad knowledge of various technologies (private cloud / on-premise infrastructure)

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business needs
