This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Invoice team, which is a small specialist team within Business Banking. We provide a wide range of businesses with working capital support to aid cash flow and growth. You will play a key role in keeping the society safe and in supporting our existing Invoice Finance customers and Invoice Finance Relationship Managers. There will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events in one of our office sites. This is anticipated to be monthly in Glasgow or Leeds. What you’ll be doing:
- Learn about all aspects of Invoice Finance and associated risk management while assisting Invoice Finance Relationship Managers with onboarding new Invoice Finance customers.
- Complete timely and accurate processing of CHAPS and currency payments, and handle general administration relating to Invoice Finance facilities.
- Process customers’ month‑end sales ledger reconciliation returns as part of our wider risk management strategy.
- Calculate and update reserves to ensure accurate funding is available to our customers.
- Interact with customers for prompt query resolution.
- Work with various banking teams, such as Payment Operations & Finance, to challenge, improve, and streamline existing processes while handling multiple tasks and prioritising workload.
