As a Business Transformation Readiness Specialist, you’ll work closely with Retail Operations colleagues and their stakeholders, helping to develop, shape, and deliver transformation within our Glasgow-based Operations team. You’ll help navigate change, assess capabilities, and identify gaps, ensuring alignment to Leadership expectations. This role starts with a 12‑month secondment opportunity and offers hybrid working anywhere across our UK estate, with measures to support additional in‑office collaboration as needed. You will be regularly brought to the Glasgow hub for collaboration events, twice a week.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and lead on initiatives and projects that directly impact Retail Operations, building strong working relationships with stakeholders across multiple business areas.
- Deliver high‑quality results within tight timescales, review and provide feedback on associated project documentation.
- Apply strong analytical capability, articulate, challenge and manage business requirements, supporting and leading key integration work within Retail Operations.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate activities across Retail Operations teams, ensuring clear communication and resource availability.
- Support discussions to understand areas for improvement to existing Retail Operations processes, providing support for individual issues and problems, and reviewing any risk management impacts.
Qualifications
- Experience of working in an operational area and having undertaken project management in the past.
- Proven stakeholder management experience, demonstrating an ability to engage, motivate and influence within an organisation.
- Confidence communicating changes and updates (both verbally and in writing).
- Experience in root cause analysis of issues and contributing solutions.
- Competent to a high standard with key Microsoft applications – MS Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
