Customer Relationships Manager (CRM) is an exciting, multi‑skilled, customer‑focused role focused on developing rewarding relationships by supporting customers to access our products and services through a variety of channels. The role offers direct, face‑to‑face support in the Halifax branch, as well as remote support via phone or video call.

Employment details: Permanent, full time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday. This role is based at the Halifax branch.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting customers across all channels, you will identify their needs and help them access our product range – primarily credit cards, personal loans, general insurance and current accounts.
  • You will answer a wide range of enquiries, including complex topics, and refer customers to specialist advisers where necessary.
  • As a subject‑matter expert within the branch, you will support colleagues with quality customer conversations and provide specialist support to vulnerable customers.
  • You will develop skills to deliver appropriate outcomes for customers and demonstrate a willingness to learn across our non‑advised product range.
  • Strong communication, rapport building, and the ability to ask the right questions are essential.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in addressing customer needs through principled sales processes and holistic customer care.
  • Customer service skills in face‑to‑face, telephony or digital channels.
  • Experience in a financial services or retail customer‑facing role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain decisions confidently and clearly over the telephone and in writing.
  • Computer skills and comfort using digital tools such as mobile devices, online calculators and office/database applications for member service needs.
  • Motivation, organisation, good time‑management and attention to detail.
  • Empathy, compassion and the ability to build good relationships with customers, internal and external stakeholders, and community groups.
