As a Roofers Mate, you’ll work alongside experienced roofers on reactive and planned maintenance works across commercial, retail, and industrial sites. Responsibilities of the role:

  • Working as part of a team on reactive and planned roofing maintenance
  • Assisting with cladding, commercial, traditional, and industrial roofing works
  • Supporting guttering repairs and replacements
  • Working safely at height on a daily basis
  • Completing on‑site risk assessments and job reports using mobile devices
  • Delivering a professional, customer‑focused service
  • Being flexible with start times, travel, and occasional weekend work
  • Participating in an on‑call rota where required
  • Continuously learning new skills and methods on site

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • A strong work ethic, reliability, and pride in your work
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work at height and learn a skilled trade

Desirable (but not essential):

  • CSCS (Labourer or Skilled Worker)
  • IPAF (1b, 3a, eB)
  • PASMA
