Glazing Operative at The NSS Group Part of NSS Maintenance
Hourly rate £16.00 - £17.00 dependent on experience
Overtime paid at time and a half

Responsibilities:
- Carry out both reactive and planned glazing works on commercial and retail sites.
- Make safe damaged units/panes and return for replacements as required.
- Take accurate measurements for glazing units using tools such as the Merlin system.
- Interpret O&M documentation to identify glazing profiles and structures.
- Liaise with suppliers to order replacement units/panes (a supplier network is already in place).
- Coordinate specialist lifting equipment (e.g. cranes, spider cranes, operators).
- Support other trades (roofing, coatings, cladding) when glazing work is not available.
- Work safely and confidently at height using appropriate access equipment.
- Maintain clear communication and accurate job documentation using a PDA device.
- Collaborate with the Slough Depot Management Team and National Glazing Manager to plan and deliver works effectively as we expand our glazing services in the South.
Requirements:
- Flexible and reliable, with willingness to work early starts, late finishes, and some weekends.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Comfortable and confident working at height.
