Your Role
As a Siphonic Systems Supervisor, you will oversee and deliver high-quality reactive and planned maintenance services, with a focus on siphonic drainage systems. Working at height will be a regular part of the role, along with travel and flexible working patterns.
Core Responsibilities:
- Supervise and work within teams on maintenance projects across commercial and industrial roofing
- Safely work at height daily
- Undertake guttering, cladding, and roofing repairs/replacements
- Install or replace Siphonic Rainwater Outlets (RWOs)
- Carry out repairs to siphonic drainage systems, including replacing blocked pipework, swapping flex-seal couplers for electrofusion sleeves, installing or upgrading system bracketry
- Install supplementary systems (e.g., overflow spitters) to ensure compliance with modern British Standards
- Conduct system servicing, blockage removal, and fault detection
- Use portable devices for dynamic risk assessments and reporting on completed works
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Represent the business professionally and take pride in quality workmanship
- Certifications required: IPAF (1b, 3a, eb), CSCS labourer or skilled worker, PASMA, Driving Licence, First aid, SSSTS, NVQ (Slating & Tiling/Sheeting & Cladding)
- Prior experience in external reactive building maintenance identifying leaks & rectification (pitched roofing, guttering, slating, concrete tiling, flat roofing & commercial sheeted roofs)

NSS Maintenance is a working at height contractor operating throughout the UK, servicing facilities management clients and the refurbishment industry. Our national coverage includes four UK depots, offering planned and reactive building fabric maintenance and refurbishment services to the commercial, retail, and industrial sectors. We employ 600 employees directly across the NSS Group and own a fully serviced truck-mounted access fleet for reactive and planned maintenance and cleaning requests.
