Electrical Maintenance Engineer at NSS Testing, part of the NSS Group. Salary dependent on experience + plenty of overtime opportunities. You should have the ability to work flexibly, be it on nights, weekends, or staying away as required.
The Division NSS Testing is all about a varied workload from replacing a single lamp to installing a fully automated vehicle gate with access and intercom control. We offer a comprehensive design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance service for all types of electrical installations ranging from industrial, commercial electrical installations including fire alarm and emergency lighting installations, automatic doors, gates, roller shutters, CCTV systems, and many more.
Your job will include:
- Delivering servicing, maintenance, and repairs to electrical equipment, including the following, along with the undertaking of all required college work:
- Weekly and monthly fire alarm testing
- Weekly and monthly emergency lighting testing
- External lighting, high bay lighting repairs, and replacements
- Access control systems, fault finding, repairs, and replacement
- General electrical repairs and installations
- On-call rota included
- Travel and working away where required
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations and guidelines are followed at all times and complying with British Standards
- Highlighting any further works required following service or reactive works
- Supporting other divisions when and where required
