Overview
National Sales Manager for NSS Group. Flexible location β national travel will be frequently required. Salary Β£45,000 - Β£50,000 + Β£6,000 car allowance. Commission scheme.
Your Role β Main Purpose
To deliver new business revenue and profit from within a specified geographical territory and/or target sector in line with the Group Sales & Marketing Strategy. To account develop specific, nominated existing customers with a view to cross sell and up sell services where appropriate, which in turn will deliver additional business revenue and profit from those customers in line with the Group Sales & Marketing Strategy. To achieve all agreed targets in line with the Group Budget and Sales Activity plans. To promote the NSS brand to all customers, competitors, and staff alike.
Your job will include:
- Generating new business through proactive sales activity and relationship building.
- Delivering against agreed sales targets, budgets, and activity plans.
- Developing and executing strategic account plans for nominated customers.
- Preparing and submitting bids, tenders, quotations, and proposals.
- Managing your pipeline and activity accurately using the CRM system.
- Identifying key decision-makers and navigating complex customer organisations.
- Working collaboratively with operational teams to maximise account value.
- Representing the NSS brand with professionalism, confidence, and credibility.
- Spotting market trends and opportunities to support future growth.
Requirements of the role:
- Proven experience in sales and/or account development.
- Experience within facilities services, property management, or complex service environments.
- Confidence dealing with large, multi-site or national customers.
- Strong commercial awareness and a results-focused mindset.
- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating with wider teams.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Resilient, driven, and persistent β you follow things through.
- Full UK driving licence.
