Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking for a hands-on role with a dynamic manufacturing business? We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to oversee incoming component inspections and in-process quality evaluations to ensure our standards remain consistently high.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled quality evaluations on incoming components, raw materials, and in-process assemblies.
- Manage component release procedures, ensuring non-conforming materials are strictly contained and documented.
- Raise clear non-conformance reports (NCRs) and collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and logs in line with compliance guidelines.
- Calibrate and maintain measuring tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
- Support internal and external quality audit activities as required.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a Quality Inspector or Quality Control technician role.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings and specifications.
- Practical expertise using standard measuring tools, gauges, and testing equipment to verify dimensions and material properties.
- Solid understanding of ISO 9001 quality management standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the business.
- A full UK driving licence.
